Skillz & Drillz Day

  • Dutch Springs 4733 Hanoverville Road Bethlehem, PA, 18020 United States (map)

Underwater World would like to congratulate all of our newly certified and continuing education divers and offer all of our divers the opportunity to practice both newly acquired or long forgotten skills during our 1st ever Skillz & Drillz event!

Many of our divers become certified for a specific trip or as a bucket list item and don't get the opportunity to dive as often as is needed to become truly comfortable and confident with the myriad of basic and advanced skills that make us safe and responsible divers.

Skillz n Drillz is intended to offer scheduled dives for registered participants who wish to practice skills acquired for their level of certification.  Underwater World Instructors and Training Assistants will be on hand to lead dives focused on:

- Basic Skills (Mask clearing, sharing air, signal tube deployment)
- Buoyancy
- Navigation
- Photography/Videography
- Dutch Springs Basic Attractions Tour (max depth 60 ft)
- Dutch Springs Advanced Attractions Tour (max depth 80 ft)

In addition to getting the benefit of practicing much needed skills, meet other Underwater World alumni and potential dive buddies, learn about other local diving opportunities as well as the many excellent Underwater World trips to warm water locations where you can also further your diving education and certification level.

Cost:  No cost for Instructor and Assistant led dives however all associated costs for rental equipment, air and Dutch Springs entrance fee do apply.

Open to all certified divers of all certification levels

Divers must register here.  Registered divers will be contacted prior to the event with more information regarding the scheduled dives.
