While dry suits were once used almost exclusively for situation such as ice diving or deep wreck diving, many sport divers are now using dry suits regularly for every day recreational dives all over the world. Perhaps you live in a cold-water climate or want to travel to one? If so, the Dry Suit Diver course is for you! 

What You Will Learn 
The Dry Suit Diver course will give you a basic knowledge and skills needed to minimize risks and gain experience in dry suit diving, as well as train you to properly use and maintain your dry suit. 

Prerequisites
Age: Minimum is 15 years old by the water phase of the course. 
Certification/Experience/Knowledge: Current enrollment in an Underwater World Basic SCUBA Course or certification in NAUI SCUBA Diver or equivalent is required.

NAUI Medic Course

Despite all the best training and planning, sometimes the unexpected happens. Whether due to environmental conditions, medical emergencies or accident, divers and professionals may be called upon to intervene. In order to be prepared, NAUI provides training  in First Aid, CPR, AED, Bloodborne Pathogens, Oxygen Administration and First Aid for Hazardous Marine Life Injuries. All training complies with the latest International Liaison Committee on Resuscitation (ICOR) standards.

In addition to meeting NAUI requirements for leadership and dive safety, NAUI training is recognized by the US Coast Guard for meeting the requirements for a US Captain’s Licensing. Certification at the professional rescuer level is also required for all active NAUI leaders and instructors and rescue divers. With NAUI first aid training, you are not only among the best trained divers in the world, you will also be among the best prepared to respond in the unlikely event of a diving emergency or accident.

Prerequisites
Age: There is no minimum age for these courses. 
Certifications/Skills/Knowledge: There is no certification required to enter this course. 

Important Note: This course is 2 parts; online training and practical training. The dates below are the dates of the practical exercises. NAUI Training Assistant

If you possess the desire to assist in the training of other divers, a Training Assistant Speciality Course is for you! This course will qualify you in the skills and knowledge necessary to perform as a training assistant during diver training courses overseen by an active-status NAUI Instructor. 
As a Certified NAUI Training Assistant, you will be qualified to temporarily directly supervise students while an Instructor conducts skills with other students; escort students on the surface or on underwater tours; and assist an active-status NAUI Instructor with other tasks, all under the direction of a NAUI Instructor.

What You Will Learn
Compass navigation; underwater communications; assisting divers with cramps, anxiety, breathing difficulties, and signs of pre-panic; escorting a diver to safety; escorting divers during an open water dive; and performing a SCUBA diver rescue are just some of the techniques and skills you will learn during your course.

In the Underwater Photography course you will be taught the skills, techniques, and tricks of underwater photography including lighting, use of underwater photographic equipment, the fundamentals of photography, underwater camera techniques, and underwater photo problems. What You Will Learn
In the Underwater Photography course you will be taught the skills, techniques, and tricks of underwater photography including lighting, use of underwater photographic equipment, the fundamentals of photography, underwater camera techniques, and underwater photo problems. Many Divemasters are employed full-time or work independently supervising certified divers during club, store, resort or charter tour and travel activities. As a NAUI Divemaster you enjoy again and again adventures to which you introduce your clients. 

What You Will Learn
The NAUI Divemaster rating is the highest NAUI leadership-level certification with the exception of Instructor. The program is designed to train experienced and knowledgeable divers to organize and conduct enjoyable open water dives for certified divers. 

Prerequisites
Age: Minimum 18 years by the water phase of the course. 
Certification/Experience/Knowledge/Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL): Certification as a NAUI Assistant Instructor is required unless the following alternative is applied;
(1) Certification as a NAUI Master SCUBA Diver and NAUI Rescue SCUBA Diver or their equivalent is required and all enrollees myst have passed the NAUI Master SCUBA Diver and Rescue SCUBA Diver written examination with minimum scores of at least 75% on each. 
(2) Recognition of Prior Learning may be applied. 
(3) A minimum of 60 logged open water SCUBA dives is required. Dives shall be varied in environment, depth, and activities .

Hollis Explorer Rebreather Diver

The Hollis Explorer is truly designed as a recreational Rebreather. The Explorer is an intelligent hybrid that utilizes the best aspects from closed-circuit  and semi-closed circuit rebreathers. It is very compact, only 40 pounds, and extremely easy to use. Certified Rebreather divers will benefit from breathing warm, humid, gas (no dry mouth), bottom times of up to 2.5hrs, and incredible Marine Life interactions as there are very few bubbles. 


What You Will Learn
During your training, you will spend the first night in a swimming pool, learning how to set up the Explorer and get comfortable with the unit. The following 2 days you can expect to complete a total of at least 4 open water dives, of a minimum of 45 minutes each. These dives will take you through the normal operations and abnormal situations that may arise. 

Prerequisites
Age: Minimum of 18 years old.
Certification/Experience/Knowledge: Certification as a NAUI SCUBA Diver or the equivalent and a NAUI Nitrox Diver or the equivalent is required to complete the course.

What You Will Learn
A NAUI Instructor may independently teach NAUI courses and authorize NAUI certification for graduates. They may independently conduct NAUI recognition and experience programs and authorize formal recognition of graduates. 

Prerequisites
• Age: Minimum is 18 years by the water phase of the course. 
• Certification/Experience/Knowledge/Recognition of Prior Learning: Certification as a NAUI Assistant Instructor or NAUI Divemaster or a NAUI PREP Course graduate within the past 12 months, is required. You must have 50 logged dives. Current certification or verified competency in CPR and First Aid is required. Verification of good physical condition as documented by a medical examination and unconditional approval for diving by a licensed physician within the preceding 12 months is required.

This course is an intensive 14 day course. You can anticipate the schedule being all day for 14 days. It is schedule like this to allow people who are coming from out of town to accomplish the course as quickly as possible.
