Raja Ampat, Nov '25

Raja Ampat, which means “Four Kings”, is located in the West Papua province of eastern Indonesia. The ‘four kings’ are the islands Misool, Batanta, Waigeo and Salawati but the area is actually made up hundreds of islands, some inhabited and many not. Raja Ampat is remote and offers some of Indonesia’s most pristine reefs and breathtaking scenery

What's the diving like?

The waters of Indonesia are at the epicenter of marine biodiversity, and the numbers are impressive: a 2,500-mile swath of islands and coral reefs home to more than 2,000 species of fish, 500-plus varieties of hard and soft coral and thousands of enigmatic invertebrates. From weird and wonderful critters to the graceful mantas and coral spires and the dramatic walls, the diving in Indonesia is some of the best in the world. Few places on the planet are as varied, and as packed with interesting and unusual marine life such as wunderpus, mimic octopus, flamboyant cuttlefish, pygmy seahorses, harlequin shrimp and ornate ghost pipefish.

Where will you be staying?

Dewi Nusantara provides a five-star liveaboard experience even in the furthest corners of the Indonesian archipelago.

With an overall length of 190 feet and a beam of 40 feet, the three-masted schooner moves with grace and stability that only larger ships can offer. 21,500 sq ft of sail are complemented by two 500-horsepower marine engines and two de-salinators that each produce 1320 gallons of fresh water daily. The Dewi Nusantara or the “Goddess of the Archipelago” was purposefully designed to operate independently for long periods at sea while offering unparalleled comfort.

Eight spacious air-conditioned Deluxe Staterooms can be adapted to either a double bed or twin singles and each has a spacious en-suite bathroom. The Master Cabin is the size of a large hotel suite and is positioned at the aft of the boat to take in spectacular sea views.

Dewi Nusantara guests can expect to experience the romance of a bygone era and indulge in the luxury of space from bow to stern. There is a vast lounge, a large outdoor relaxation area and two different sun decks.

The dining facilities are those of a five star restaurant.

Thanks to her size, Dewi Nusantara has become the ultimate live-aboard dive boat in Indonesia. Her discreet and attentive Indonesian crew of 19 is complemented by one cruise director and four dive masters who all have vast experience in our diving destinations.
