Course Information
Advanced Diver Training
Advanced Diver training is designed to expand your experience beyond entry-level diving and introduce you to different types of diving under the supervision of an Instructor.
The program includes a minimum of six open-water training dives. Training includes experience with:
- Underwater navigation
- Night or low-visibility diving
- Deep diving
- Dive planning and execution
- Three additional dives selected from available training options
Dry Suit Diver Training
Dry suit diving allows divers to remain warmer and more comfortable in colder water, but the additional air space inside the suit requires specific training and practice.
During the course, you'll learn how to properly use a dry suit, manage buoyancy, control the air within the suit, and respond to situations that are unique to dry suit diving.
Use of an Underwater World rental dry suit is included during your training.
How the Course Works
Training begins with eLearning followed by instructor-led briefings and open-water training.
You'll complete a minimum of six open-water dives while applying advanced diving concepts and developing experience in a variety of diving conditions and activities.
Deep training dives may progress beyond normal Open Water training depths and are conducted within the limits appropriate for the course, with a maximum depth of 130 feet.
